I was traveling on a serious budget so i decided to hit some of the free sites. Below is a list of the top free sites in Paris. FREE PEOPLE!! There are a ton not listed but keep in mind i tried to hit as many as possible in 24 hours.
- Eiffel Tower – need I say more??
- Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris – pictured above
-
Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen – this is a big flea market that was founded in the 19th century. They have clothes, furniture and all kinds of things. check it out.
-
Parc du Champ de Mars – everyone wants to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower but it will cost you a pretty penny. Parc du Champ de Mars is an area of lawns and flowerbeds that provide a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower.
-
Cimitière du Père Lachaise – for those who love the dark side of a beautiful city as i do this cemetery is filled with literary geniuses. This includes Proust and Balzac, and more modern icons like Oscar Wilde and Edith Piaf.
- Walk along the Seine River. there are a ton of little crepe stands and coffee shops. Awesome macaroons along the way as well because… its Paris.
- Take some pictures outside the Louvre. Although you cant see the Mona Lisa, its overrated anyway. take a few pictures outside the world famous museum and move on with your day.
